HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

HI! First off Happy Thanksgiving, I wish everyone a safe travels. As I got online I saw a news story in Texas about the car pileup. I grieve to those families who lost loved ones as well as all the other people who were involved and hurt. Also THANK YOU to the men and women serving our country and the men and women working here to keep everyone safe (police, firefighter, etc...)!

Yesterday my family and I went to the zoo (I felt like a kid again, not leaving the cats alone…seriously my favorite animal) I just love the zoo! Then watched fireworks to kick off the season (listening to Christmas music is my favorite plus hearing AMAZING people sing and dance was great too since I can’t do either  L ), it was sooo much fun to just relax and have fun with the family.

Polar Bear paws maybe big but I seriously could curl up and cuddle with them!

He was a sleep till I said "Kitty Kitty." He got up and looked at me and opened his mouth. ( I think to scare me haha)

The FIREWORKS!

The sunset over the lake!

Then today my grandma and dad made a terrific turkey thanksgiving lunch. My grandma decorated the table and it seriously was PERFECT! We watched the parade on T.V. (that is something on my bucket list to see). When the turkey was finally ready (I am giving notice to my future husband, I am a HORRIBLE cook, for some reason none of the children really got Dad’s side of the great cooking  gene) and gave grace then shared what we were thankful for. Most was Family, my brothers said football and food (typical 9 year olds) and since everyone said family I went with animals (they are a part of the family).
Grams also made this runner and this is at both ends. I didnt get her talent to sew or knit either :(

My grandma made turkeys!

The local cat mid-meow. I had turkey and milk for him. (Grandma's orders)

Till next time,
xoxo

I don't know what to call this one.

Hi everybody! So I thought maybe that I could keep up with this blog but it hasn’t happened yet its "I’m too tired or I’ll do it tomorrow"...which never happens. So this week has had its up and downs and tomorrow is an up. My family is going to the zoo and then watching fireworks for Thanksgiving, its moments like this I LOVE! Earlier I was on Pinterst (my favorite site) and many people had shared some family quotes. What’s not perfect about sharing family quotes? I know we all have our differences in what family means to them, we are all far from perfect…right? I found this and I thought this describes my family since we are all unique but come together with support, hugs, and love and this is truly the best blessing I am thankful for.
We laugh and learn,
Pray and protect,
Apologizes and appreciates,
Dreams and discovers,
Fights and forgives,
Teases and trusts,
Gives and grows,
Believes and belongs,
LOVE AND LAST FOREVER BECAUSE WE ARE ONE!
I always watched Disney movies with my sister (my favorite thing to do) and one of them has always stuck with me about the word family in the movie Lilo and Stitch -Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. I can’t describe how THANKFUL I am to have grown up with mine. Over the years I really have grown and understood its FAMILY that keeps you going with love, support and will be holding my hand for the rest of my life, when I need it the most no matter what.

Happy Thanksgiving week!

Double T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!

In my family for some reason there is always 2 boys and a girl in the age divison. For me I have my cousin Tyler and cousin Max. Tyler and I have always been close, he would come down over the summer for a week for a vaca. And during that week I couldnt tell you how many time we got in trouble (probably more than both our fingers and toes combined...but thats what cousins are made for...right?) and I would have to blame him for most of it...he is a boy ;) and I was saving myself because at this time its one man for himself. For instance, the town I grew up in was really small (everyone was in your grill with their noses waiting for something to happen) well the fair was in town and littlery the fair is just 2 block streets, one road, well we were so into playing the games we took out all my savings (the bank allowed it too without my parents permission...to this day I dont understand because we were only 8 years olds) in the end we used up over $100 on games...only games...and still didnt win a big stuffed animal. Today Tyler turned 21. Happy Day of Birth to him!!!! I wouldn't trade having rock sells (yes rocks to make money to buy candy), picking flowers because they were Cheifs fans (sorry we are Saints Fans...we thought it was a good idea at the time and we did write them a sorry letter), giving Nelson (Grams German Shepard dog) all the hot dogs the family was going to have for dinner so we could swim in her pool. trying to hook me up with his neighbor friend (horrible horrible horrible idea...did I mention HORRIBLE). Even as we get older we still make the best out of the times we are together. I wouldnt trade the memories or you for anything. Love you Ty!
-Forever yours Al.
(sorry about the photobomb haha easier than scanning it in)

Do you have a family member that you were close with that got you in trouble but always till made the best out of everything?
XOXO

Neewbie

Stoop kid afraid to leave (her) stoop.” –Hey Arnold

Okay folks. I am a neewbie to this whole “blog world” which somewhere between fear and love I did fall in love with it just a tiny bit…okay maybe most of my heart. After read different several blogs (I am not a creep I swear J) I gained more motivation to start my own. I hope I get some followers and make some friends while I am here. And on that note I promise I will try and not bore anyone of you.
